Trackwork at Morse: Three shifts, 30 workersPatrick Barry, June 2, 2012
Kevin O'Neil put his reporter's hat on today to find out what was happening at the Morse station, where southbound trains are bypassing the station on Track 1 (the usual southbound Express track) and northbound trains are coming toward Howard on Track 2.
Kevin reports with a story and photos at CTA Tattler that contractor Kiewit has 25 to 30 employees on site around the clock, along with enough heavy equipment to dismantle and rebuild 2,000 feet of track.

Farther north along the track was some sort of track-maintenance tool called a Swingmaster.
